What to Put in Your First Message

Nearly every slow support exchange is slow for the same reason: the first message does not contain enough to act on, so the reply is a question rather than an answer. Two or three extra lines from you at the start usually removes an entire round trip.

Include your username, say clearly what you expected to happen and what happened instead, and attach a screenshot if there is anything on screen. For anything involving money, add the amount, the date and time, the method and the reference number.

Message from the mobile number registered to your account wherever possible. It lets us confirm who you are immediately instead of asking verification questions first.

A Message We Can Act On

“Hi, my username is rahul_k92. I sent ₹2,000 by UPI at 8:42pm today, UTR 4532XXXXXX, and the balance still shows the old amount an hour later. Screenshot attached. Can you check it?”

That message can be traced the moment it arrives. Compare it with “money not received, please check”, which needs four follow-up questions before anyone can look at anything.

Never include your password

Not in a message, not in a screenshot, not when asked. Our team does not need it, and we will not ask for it, an OTP, a banking PIN or a card CVV at any point.

Before You Message

What to Send for Each Type of Query

Find your situation, send those details in the first message, and most queries come back resolved rather than with a request for more information.

Setting Expectations

What Our Team Can and Cannot Do

Being clear about the limits in advance is more useful than discovering them during a dispute, so here they are plainly.

We can

  • Issue a new ID and get you signed in.
  • Reset a password or unlock an account after an identity check.
  • Trace a deposit or a withdrawal using your reference number.
  • Explain why a withdrawal is held, and what will clear it.
  • Apply deposit limits or a self-exclusion period on request.
  • Tell you plainly when a delay or a mistake is at our end.

We cannot

  • Reverse a settled bet because a match went against you.
  • Recover money sent to account details that were never ours.
  • Pay a withdrawal to anyone other than the registered player.
  • Speed up your bank once a payout has been released.
  • Give you tips, predictions or any view on who will win.
  • Advise you on tax or on the law where you live.

The payout and timing points are explained in full in our wallet and payments guide, which is worth reading before a first withdrawal rather than during one.

How Long We Take

Response Times, Honestly

We aim to answer every message quickly, and most of the time we do. What we will not do is publish a guaranteed response time in minutes, because volume varies enormously and a promise we cannot keep on a busy IPL evening is worth less than no promise at all.

What we can tell you is the pattern. Quiet periods get a reply within a few minutes. Live match evenings are the busiest stretch of the week and a queue builds, particularly between the toss and the first innings break. Payment traces take longer than login questions, because a payment has to be checked against records rather than answered from knowledge.

If something is genuinely urgent, say so in the first line along with your username. It helps us order the queue sensibly.

Please Do Not Send It Twice

Sending the same query again from a second number does not move you up the queue. It usually does the opposite, because it creates two conversations that both have to be read, matched and closed.

The same is true, and far more expensive, with payments. If a deposit has not appeared, send the reference number and wait for it to be traced. Sending the money a second time turns a short delay into a problem that takes days to unwind.

If you have had no reply at all after a long wait, check that you messaged the number published on this website rather than one forwarded by somebody else.

After You Message

What Happens Next

Knowing the shape of the process makes the wait easier, and it explains why some answers take longer than others.

01

We Read and Identify

Your message is matched to your account, which is why sending it from your registered number saves a round of verification questions.

02

We Check the Record

Login issues are usually answered from knowledge. Anything involving money is checked against records first, which takes longer but produces a definite answer rather than a guess.

03

We Tell You What We Found

Including when the delay is at our end, and including when the honest answer is that something cannot be undone.

04

We Close It Properly

If a payment is being traced or a limit applied, we confirm when it is done rather than leaving you to wonder whether it happened.

One thing we will not do: answer a payment question with a guess to get it off the queue faster. If a trace is needed, we run the trace. A quick wrong answer about money costs you far more than a slower correct one.

Protect Yourself

Make Sure You Are Messaging Us

Our name is used by people with no connection to us, and a contact page is exactly where that matters. Four checks, each taking seconds.

Use the Number on This Page

Not one forwarded by another player, not one from a search ad, not one in a group chat. If it did not come from this website, treat it as unverified.

Check Who Started the Conversation

We reply to players; we do not approach them. An unprompted message offering an ID, a bonus or an upgrade did not come from us.

Watch What Is Being Asked For

Any request for a password, OTP, banking PIN or card CVV ends the conversation. There is no situation where our team needs them.

Be Wary of Changing Payment Details

Being asked to pay a different personal account each time is a known pattern. Stop and confirm through this page before transferring anything.

Not sure about a message? Send it to us through a channel on this page and ask whether it came from us. We would much rather answer that question than deal with what follows if it did not. Our team and policies page explains how we work and what we will never do.

If We Get It Wrong

Making a Complaint

If something has gone wrong and the first answer has not resolved it, say so directly and ask for it to be looked at again. A complaint is not an awkward thing to raise with us; it is usually the quickest route to a proper answer.

Set out what happened, when, what you were told, and what outcome you are looking for. Keep the relevant references together in one message rather than spread across several, since a complaint that has to be reassembled from six messages takes considerably longer to resolve.

You will get a straight answer, including when the fault is ours. What you will not get is an explanation that quietly shifts the blame onto you.

Help With Betting Itself

If you want to limit how much you can deposit, pause your account, or close it entirely, contact us through any channel on this page. We apply it, and we do not follow up later with an offer to tempt you back.

These requests are completely ordinary and are treated as such. Our safer play guide explains each option and what it does.

If betting is affecting your finances, your work or your relationships, the most useful step is a break and a conversation with someone you trust or a qualified counsellor. That is a bigger thing than a support ticket, and it is worth treating as one.

Faster Than Messaging

Answers You Can Get Right Now

A good share of the messages we receive are already answered on this site, usually in more detail than a chat reply allows. If your question is on this list, the guide will be quicker than waiting for us.

Getting Started

How an ID is issued, what you need, who can register and what happens afterwards is covered on the ID request page.

Login Trouble

Password resets, OTP failures, locked accounts and new-device checks are all worked through on the account access guide.

App Problems

Install errors, permissions, updates and iPhone access are handled on the app and APK guide.

New to the platform entirely? The cricket ID overview explains how exchange betting works before you put money anywhere near it, which is the right order to do things in.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I contact PlayInMatch ID support?

Use the WhatsApp number, live chat or email address listed at the top of this page. WhatsApp is usually fastest, especially for anything involving a payment.

What are your support hours?

Support runs every day, including through the night on big match evenings, since that is when most messages arrive.

How quickly will I get a reply?

Usually within a few minutes in quiet periods. Live match evenings are busier and a queue builds. We do not publish a guaranteed time because volume varies.

What should I include in my message?

Your username, what you expected and what happened instead, and a screenshot. For payments, add the amount, date and time, method and reference number.

Will you ever ask for my password or OTP?

No. Never a password, OTP, banking PIN or card CVV. A request for any of these means you are not talking to us.

How do I know a number is really yours?

Only the number published on this page is ours. A number forwarded by another player is not verified, however helpful they were being.

My deposit has not arrived. What do I send?

The amount, the date and time, the method and your UTR or transaction reference, plus a screenshot. Do not send the payment a second time.

Can support tell me which team will win?

No. We do not give tips or predictions, and anyone selling certainty in cricket betting is lying to you.

How do I set a deposit limit or close my account?

Message us with your username and what you want applied. We action it, and we do not later contact you with an offer to return.

What if I am not happy with the answer I get?

Say so and ask for it to be looked at again, setting out what happened and what outcome you want. You will get a straight answer, including when the fault is ours.

Message Us Now

Include your username and what went wrong, and we will take it from there. If it is about a payment, add the reference number and we can trace it straight away.
